Wedding Decor Examples

These wood slices were fully inspired by my imagination, to use at our wedding!

I made a post on Facebook while on furlough, asking if anyone had any scrap wood that I could craft with. A friend gave me the scrap ends from a fence they had put up in her yard, and I went to Pintrest for inspiration. I foudn the idea pictured on top and remixed it for our wedding colors in the final product pictured on the bottom!

This crafty timeline was straight out of my imagination! I wanted to create something that would summarize all of the highlights from our first conversation to our wedding. Something to share with guests at out wedding.

I was browsing the Michael's website looking for crafty-type projects for the kids to do while they are home from school, and came across this wood crate. I was instantly inspired to create a wedding card box out of it! We cut extra slats out of a 2"x4" so that we could close off the open end - we screwed two of them on so that we can open it later, and nailed the rest of them on! Poof! A custom wedding card box.

Our wedding venue has a neat area that will be perfect for setting up yard games. I've been coming up with different ones that we can set up, and decided to make custom cornhole boards! I bought the boards already made on Amazon and then painted and clear-coated them.

This old window was etched on the top pane and then a plywood backdrop was painted and attached to the back of the window.

For other old windows,

I was looking for a way to remember our grandparents who will be watching our wedding from heaven, and found this sign on Pintrest. Here is my version!
